A new route forecasting wizard provides one convenient entry point into the MEI Easitrax system. This wizard uses an operator’s most accurate data available, either “sold” or “fill”, and applies the latest forecasting algorithms to automatically generate route issues that can be accessed by drivers via handheld devices. The information can also be used at the warehouse to pre-kit items and load trucks appropriately, saving time and fuel costs.
“The challenge has been giving operators an easy way to harness the power of their forecasting and pre-kitting tools in order to reduce operating costs,” said Jeff Jordan, executive vice president of MEI’s global vending business. “With this software update, the wizard helps them produce forecasts and use the information to simplify routes and deliveries.”
MEI will provide demonstrations of Easitrax3.10 during the NAMA National Expo in Chicago on September 23-25 at booth 701.
