ILD will be required to submit a 3 million euro guarantee to develop the complex

The Spanish Parliament passed Gran Scala Act

(Spain).- The law to regulate the development of the giant Gran Scala gaming and leisure resort complex came into force after its approval in Spanish Parliament and its publication in State Official Gazette (BOE).

o develop the complex, ILD will be required to submit to the Government of Aragon a three million euro guarantee.

The law defends that the spatial concentration of various leisure, entertainment, gaming, sporting, cultural and shopping activities and a large number of hotels in a place like this complex avoids the inconvenience of an access of high number of visitors to big cities and the consequences that arise from it.

The project shall be implemented and managed by developer, undertaking at its own risk and without obligation by the authorities concerned to maintain its financial equilibrium even in the event of force majeure.

Working hours will be according to trade regime for tourist areas, without the requirements established in the regulations on casinos, bingo halls, racetracks or any other leisure and cultural activity.
