ost of the attendees were gaming professionals from Macau who made up nearly 40 % of the total attendance. A majority of the rest came from countries across the Asian region, including Australia, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam.

“There is no question that G2E Asia is the most important event for the Asian gaming industry. It continues to be a very effective platform for us to meet with our customers in Macau as well as from the other Asian markets.  And at this challenging time, we find more value in participating in this event than ever,” said Simon Lai, VP of Jumbo Technology Co. Ltd.

One of the highlights of this year’s event was the presentation of the G2E Asia Visionary Award.  Hundreds of gaming professionals from the Asian gaming industry gathered to see Stanley Ho receive this prestigious award from the CEO of Macau SAR, Edmund Ho and were inspired by Ho’s keynote remarks at the event’s Opening Ceremony on June 3.

G2E Asia is the premier gaming exhibition and conference dedicated to the Asian gaming markets. The fourth annual event is to be held June 8-10, 2010, at the Venetian Macau.
