Dreifach is Deputy General Counsel of Linden Lab, operators of the Second Life virtual world platform where he heads the company’s regulatory, anti-fraud and anti-money laundering, compliance, privacy and litigation efforts.
From 2006 to 2007, Dreifach was a partner at the law firm of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP, where he advised clients in the gaming, technology and financial sectors regarding a wide range of regulatory, compliance, litigation and government enforcement matters.
Between 1999 and 2006, he worked for the Internet Bureau of the New York Attorney General’s office, including more than five years as Chief of the Internet Bureau where he directed the office’s technology-related litigation, enforcement and policy efforts.
Earlier in his career, Dreifach served as a judicial clerk for Judge Phyllis Kravitch, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. . He holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a B.A. from Wesleyan University.
