City of Dreams launches online media portal

(Macau).- City of Dreams officially launched a new online dedicated Media Portal providing the latest news together with in-depth background information on activities associated with Macau's latest integrated urban entertainment destination.

ity of Dreams is being developed by Melco Crown Entertainment Limited, an entertainment company listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market.

The Media Portal,, a trilingual site launched in English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese versions, is an in-depth information resource focused on the 'next generation' leisure and entertainment, hotel, food and beverage, retail and lifestyle offerings at City of Dreams.

Greg Hawkins, President of City of Dreams, said: "The new online press site will help facilitate local, regional and international media in the provision of high quality, regularly updated and relevant information pertaining to the news and activities that contribute to a City of Dreams experience.

"The site will bring the very latest news and information together with comprehensive background details on all of our current activities during our Grand Opening on June 1" he said.

The Media Portal will be updated on a regular basis (and daily during the City of Dreams Grand Opening on June 1), with news and photo updates that are downloadable for media use, and features a media enquiry response section.

The initial opening of City of Dreams will feature a 39,019 sqm casino, a diverse array of accommodation consisting of the Crown Towers, which offers unrivaled levels of personalized service, lavish style and uncompromising sophistication, and the exciting music-inspired Hard Rock Hotel, with its unique combination of electrifying music themes and memorabilia.

Over 20 restaurants and bars, an impressive array of some of the world's most sought-after retail brands within The Boulevard, a unique lifestyle precinct operated by leading travel retailer DFS, and the iconic and spectacular audio visual multimedia extravaganza, Dragon's Treasure, featured in a dome-shaped theater known as The Bubble, completes the line-up.
