he agreement consists of two management contracts for a Hilton and an Embassy Suites by Hilton, both new constructions, a franchise agreement for a conversion to Doubletree by Hilton, and a franchise agreement for a new Hilton Garden Inn.

Hilton Panama, which will have 351 rooms, will be a top-level property developed by Star Bay Group, Inc., and Hilton Hotels Corporation will operate the hotel accordinf to the terms of a management contract. Its conclusion is planned for 2011.
The hotel is located in the financial district of the City of Panama and will have a series of recreational installations, among them, a 761 sqm gymnasium, a 998 sqm spa, a swimming pool in the terrace and a “Las Vegas-style” casino. It will also have 2,040 sqm of space destinated to meetings and conventions.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Panama City will be developed by Sabadell Investment Inc., and Hilton Hotels Corporation will operate the hotel according to the terms of a management contract. It will have 306 suites, and its construction is scheduled to begin in 2009 and to conclude for October 2011.
It will count with different recreational installations, among them, a gymnasium, a spa, a swimming pool, stores and a casino. The property will offer a business cencer and more than 1,400 sqm for meetings. The hotel, with 21 floors, will be part of a 71-floor building with space for top-level offices.
Doubletree by Hilton Panama City will be developed and operated by Blue Star Hospitality, S.A., according to a franchise contact with Hilton Hotels Corporation. Nowadays, a wide refurbishment is being performed in the 213-room property, to make it a hotel with Doubletree brand by Hilton in Spring 2010. It will offer a gymnasium in the terrace, a swimming pool and a spa, stores, 185 sqm of space for meetings and a restaurant.
Developed by Metropolitan Hotels S.A., Hilton Garden Inn Panama will have 163 spacious rooms and seven suites, all with the Garden Sleep System bed, free wi-fi Internet connection, high-definition TV, etc. The hotel will also offer a business center oponed 24-7 and a total 160 sqm of meeting space.
All the hotels will participate in Hilton HHonors, the unique reward program for guests that allows members to accumulate points and miles - Points & Miles – and redeem them for courtesy nights (No Blackout Dates).
