Philadelphia Park was number one, with $31.1 million

Pennsylvania casinos see double-digit revenue gain for April

(US).- Pennsylvania’s seven casinos notched a double-digit growth in revenues last month. After posting a gain of more than nine percent this March compared to March of 2008, the casinos, in April, grew revenues by 13.76 % over April of the year before.

eading the way were the Hollywood Casino near Harrisburg and Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, with gains of 42 % each April to April.

The only casino to experience a drop in April was Harrah’s in Chester, off about 2½ %. However, Harrah’s was second in the state for April, with revenues of us$ 27.6 million.
Philadelphia Park was number one, with us$ 31.1 million, and increase of almost 10 %.

Number three was The Meadows, located in Washington County, with us$ 22.7 million, up 13½ %.
