Officials will test operations on April 13, with proceeds benefiting volunteer fire departments in Washington County. The Meadows’ temporary slots parlor opened in June 2007 with 1,825 machines.
The new facility will have more than 3,700 machines, more dining and entertainment options and a new area to watch and bet on harness racing.
The casino will open at 10 a.m. April 15 if the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is satisfied with the test run. The Meadows is owned by Cannery Casino Resorts.
