What did Playtech present in its booth in IGE 2009?

Playtech has a really successful presentation in ICEi. Visitors could see the presentation of the real-game type recently released for our Italian poker network iPoker.it, whose creation complies with the regulatory requirements for online games of chance set by AAMS, the Italian regulatory entity. Playtech has attracted to the network the main Italian operators using the know-how acquired during many years of work experience in the regulated markets. All those who visited our stand could get to know our new proposals targeted to the European market in the live-game platform of Playtech, EuroLive, located in Riga, Letonia. The European centers, designed to satisfy the changing needs of the local market, reproduce online the community sensation and the emotion offered by the traditional gaming experience for the European player.

Live demonstration of our new product of gaming transmission also had a great popularity. The platform allows operators to have an interactive action in live gaming to a multitude of players, transmitted simultaneously such in TV and Internet. Live casino programs can be executed as part as the proposal of crossed platform of Playtech or as an independent product. Which were the comments received by visitors and customers?

Our booth was visited by a record number of visitors that included current and potential customers. All of them showed a great enthusiasm with the products we presented and brought us many positive comments. Specially, we noted a great interest by operators from emerging markets and recently regulated regions, such as Italy and Spain.

Our most recent product for gaming transmission generated a great level of interest. This new proposal of live casino programs brings interactive gaming content to a great number of players and uses tools from the latest generation virtual community for live broadcast on YV and Internet with interaction of the audience in real time.

Do you think the current economic crisis will affect the iGaming industry?

Sometimes, crisis are an open door to new opportunities and a way to discover new income channels. Challenges that the online games of chance industry face also bring to traditional

games of chance operators a great opportunity to incorporate a very attractive sector to their current gaming activity and expand, this way, their portfolios with the wide range of products that Playtech offers.

Which are the main aims of Playtech for 2009?

Our aim, in particular, is to show the way in the search of the most adequate solution for regulated markets in Europe and reproduce the successful formula we implemented in Italy with the release of iPoker.it network. Our aim is to continue attracting the main operators with the unique quality of our products and platforms and the level of confidence that we managed to achieve from the public all these years in which we have adapted our products to satisfy the specific needs of the local markets and the requirements of local regulatory entities. We intend to reproduce this model in all Europe, in particular, in recently regulated regions, such as the Spanish market.

For the Latin American market, our goals are to strengthen our existing bonds with local operators, and offer the Latin American market a product that complies with all the requirements of the local regulatory entities. We also intend to offer customized content and the best ways to administrate the gaming activity.

The great experience of Playtech in penetrating new markets in Asia and Europe allows us to modify our products to satisfy the needs both for players and local operators. Our aim is to consolidate our presence in the region as the strategic partner that Latin American operators choose. Playtech aims to establish its position in Latin America with the aim to attend the market needs and operate as a local contact point for new licensees in recently regulated jurisdictions.
