iorgio Abbiatti said: “Although the number of people visiting the ICE was considerable down, it gave us the company the opportunity of focussing attention with the decision makers, who, as always, were at the show. We know that one of our customers who always comes with at least 15 other directors and mangers was here this year on their own, which showed the general pattern this year, unfortunately the fact that the show fell during Chinese New Year had an additional impact.”
Giorgio went on to say that the IGE is still the most important show for Abbiati “as we have most of our customers who use the London Show to finalize their budgets and decisions for their own purchasing.”
Terry Clarke Abbiati’s Commercial Director, reported that the new products exhibited had been enthusiastically, approved by their customers for their design innovation and quality. “Giovanni Abbiati, President of Abbiati Casino Equipment, is the driving force behind these new innovations and designs that our customers expect to see from Abbiati when they visit our stand,” he added.
The firm added that the new range of Tables, Wheels and bases manufactured in Carbon Fibre was exceptionally well received with confirmed orders at the show; the overhead wheel reader that can be used on any wheel and displays was also well received as it is self aligning and needs no setting.
Particular interest was shown in our 13.56 MHz PJM RFID Value Chip and Plaque products; two tables fully functional with all chip and plaque movements and transactions being shown in real time
Giorgio Abbiatti explained the speed and accuracy with which the 13.56 MHz PJM technology operates has the ability of reading and identifying 800 chips per second and allows us to help casinos improve their performance in all areas of accounting, verification and security, the Chip Inventory System,(CIS) verifies and shows all chip movements in real time, from Vault to Cage, to Table.
The RFID enabled Chip Trays using 13.56 MHz PJM RFID allows total visibility when interfaced with other modules (Casino and Table link) of all chip movements and total chip count in real time
Abbiati also exhibited a jointly developed project with PGIC for Texas Poker Tables that was developed in response to increasing customer demand for a 13.56 MHz PJM enabled RFID poker tables and allows for full auditing and verification of RFID enabled chips and pot totals, the simple touch screen interface provides the ability to set and calculate any pot percentage quickly and accurately during the game.
