Statements by John Connelly, Vice President of Bally Technologies

Bally will present its wide range of products at Aruba Gaming Show

(US, exclusive interviewed John Connelly, VP of Bally Technologies, who commented the products that the firm will showcase at upcoming Aruba Gaming Show. He also talked about the opportunities of Caribbean and Central American markets and his perspective for the future.


hich products will Bally, as Aruba Gaming Show sponsors, demonstrate next month?

We are excited to showcase our new Power Strike five-reel progressive slots, in which the top-level jackpot can be configured as a currency value or a high-value prize, such as a car, boat, motorcycle and vacation. We are displaying three Power Strike games at the Aruba Gaming Show. In addition, we are showcasing Reel Money, an exciting new reel-spinning local-area progressive slot. With Reel Money, players have the chance to win all five jackpots in one spin, including the top jackpot award that starts at us$ 25,000. Reel Money plays much like Bally’s popular Hot Shot games.

Of course, a show wouldn’t be a show without Bally’s Quick Hit Platinum games on the dramatic V32 vertical upright cabinet. At the Aruba Gaming Show, we are highlighting Quick Hit Platinum Black & White; Quick Hit Platinum Blazing 7s; and Quick Hit Platinum Black Gold.

Visitors to our booth will also see the new GoldBeard’s Treasure series video slots; our four Treasure Series games; and our Power Progressives Platinum series on the V32 cabinet with three new game titles: Double Wild Rose, Rich & Famous and White Gold.

Given that Bally has successfully expanded their international markets during the last three years, Which perspective do you see in the Caribbeans and Central American zones for 2009 and 2010.

There is opportunity in the Caribbean and Central American regions over the next two years. With tourism in the region impacted by the global economic challenges, we are hearing from our customers that they want to upgrade their slot floors so that they can offer their players the most cutting-edge games, thereby retaining and attracting players and staying competitive. Bally’s games are performing well, and we think demand for our games, particularly our new video offerings, will only continue to increase.

The Aruba Gaming Show 2009 has brought a great expectation among various companies in the area, What messages would you give to exhibitors and visitors who will participate in AGS 2009

We want to welcome all of our customers to the Aruba Gaming Show and invite them to come visit our booth, where we are showcasing some of the most exciting new products for the region. We join with the all the exhibitors at the show in demonstrating our commitment to this region. Bally is focused on working with gaming operators in the region to bring the Games and Systems technology that will perform well and help drive revenue and cost efficiencies on their casino floors.
