Donations, a fundraising campaign and medical services for 1,300 employees

Bally announces long-term partnership with Nevada Cancer Institute

(US).- Bally Technologies informed this week that it has committed to a long-term partnership with Nevada Cancer Institute (NVCI), the official cancer center for the State of Nevada and a leader in providing research, education, early detection, prevention, and high-quality patient care throughout the state.


ally’s partnership with NVCI includes a 100 percent match of all employee donations. “In today’s trying economic times it is difficult to make charitable commitments, but we at Bally recognize that times like this are when support is needed the most,” said Bally’s Chief Executive Officer Richard Haddrill.

“The Nevada Cancer Institute reflects our commitment to the Nevada community, supports our desire to bring quality employees to the state, and is a cause our employees can embrace over the long run,” Haddrill added.

Murren, Cofounder and Chairman of the Board of Nevada Cancer Institute. “The need to provide our fellow Nevadans with the latest in first-rate research and exceptional patient care is greater than ever. This will help us lessen the financial hardship Nevada cancer patients and their loved ones face as they fight the biggest fight of their lives – the battle against cancer.”

Bally Technologies’ long-term partnership with Nevada Cancer Institute will involve company donations, an employee fundraising campaign, as well as education, early detection, and cancer-prevention services for the company’s approximately 1,300 Nevada-based employees.
