Playtech wins CAP Award

(UK).- Leading global designer, developer and licensor of software for the online and mobile gaming industries, Playtech, has won the prestigious 2009 CAP Award for Best iGaming Bingo Software. The Isle of Man-based firm was recognized during the recent CAP Awards ceremony in London, which was attended by 500 affiliates and operators.

We are delighted to have received this acclaim for the strength of our offering and proud to have been acknowledged as the best bingo software provider in the industry,” said Shmuel Segal, Head of Bingo for Playtech.

“Our commitment over the past year to improve Playtech’s bingo product has enabled us to spearhead developments in the online bingo arena, offering a bingo client with an outstanding, easy-to-use interface with multiple revenue generating game types and variations, designed for player enjoyment and staying power as well as back-end tools that allow operators to optimise gaming activity. The bingo product is also fully integrated with other Playtech products providing operators with great cross-selling opportunities.

“Playtech is investing a wealth of resources and efforts into the development of its bingo product and is looking forward to releasing a new version of its bingo software at the beginning of the second quarter, which will create a rich and exciting new gaming experience for players.”

Playtech stated that its bingo network had been designed to mimic the community feel of a land-based bingo hall. It allows operators to run their own fully customised bingo game featuring multiple rooms alongside a large amount of games, scratch cards and embedded progressives.

“We are honoured to have received this recognition of our bingo software from members of the affiliate community and, far from resting on our laurels, we remain dedicated to continuing to pioneer new features for our bingo client and to bringing the atmosphere of the bingo hall directly to a broad community of players,” said Mor Weizer, Chief Executive Officer for Playtech.
