International Gaming Expo concludes today

A wide offer of new games and developments presented in London

(UK, exclusive Yogonet.com).- With more exhibiting space and the presence of visitors from all the international markets, today it concludes a new IGE edition in London. The main firms exhibited its novelties –games, systems, multi-player developments, in an edition that had an important number of visitors, although there was less public than in previous editions.

ue to the important offer of products and services presented in London show, it seems as the international economic crisis would be giving a break to the gaming industry, although when asked about the future situation in 2009 for the sector, the issue was, no doubt, the most common remark of all its members. Anyway, the exhibiting companies are developing their whole potential, showcasing their latest developments in very well-produced booths that brought a very good look to the event.

The different most popular gaming options – multi-player table games, electronic and electromechanical, slots and online games are the main attractions of the event. All the things related to online betting cover an important portion of Earls Court, with leading firms in the sector- as Playtech, Microgaming, Parlay, Boss Media, Spin 3 – exhibiting their novelties, in an area that, together with Bar Lounche of ICEi, was always very visited.

The firms that have the largest booths in the main hall are: Novomatic, IGT, Bally Technologies, Unidesa, TCS John Huxley, Aristocrat, GPI, Atronic, Octavian, Interblock, AlfaStreet Gold Club and Shuffle Master, among others.

Novomatic attracts a great quantity of visitors. It displays its novelties and exhibits its new multi-player dimension: the Server-based platform Novo Unity II. More than half of the stand space is dedicated to the presentation of multiple possibilities for this technological innovation. Besides, products Novo TouchBet Live-Roulette, Novo Multi-Roulette, Novo TouchBet Live-Baccarat, Novo TouchBet Live-Black Jack, Novo TouchBet Live-Sic Bo, Novo Multi-Roulette, as well as the new table for live electronic gaming that features Novo Texas Hold’em Poker and Novo Wheel of Cash, are installed in a wide space linked for live gaming in the event.

IGT, worldwide leader in slots manufacturing, on top of its wide portfolio on the matter, also bets to multi-player options. Having taken the license of Unity platform of Novomatic and using it to create its multi-player table games in its MP Series, showcases in IGE the roulette, Baccarat and horse race game in such platform.

Under the slogan “UGS Strikes Back”, Unidesa Gaming & Systems (UGS)–one of the brands of Cirsa B2B Division- focuses its activity in the design, manufacturing, sale and service of slots, online bingos, control systems of gaming machines and casino linked systems. All this products and solutions are present in its booth.

In a total of 245 sqm, Bally Technologies exhibits an impressive collection of video slots, reel-spinning slots; wide-area progressives; specialty games, multiple products, systems and platforms for international markets, authorized titles, system-based games and the so-called Network of the Future.

With a strategy focused in each European market, Aristocrat is a global manufacturer that, in this case, uses IGE as a release platform for games specially developed for countries such as: Spain, Portugal, UK and even South Africa.

Besides, Atronic presents its "New Era of Gaming Solutions,” with a wide variety of new games, attractive linked gaming concepts, state-of-the-art cabinets for the release of a new casino management network and a collection of system solutions. It also shows its “Crystal.net” novelty, a new evolution of Atronic for the casino network administration.

Sharing its space with WMS, Orion Gaming introduces in London its “Group Wins” product, a new development that allows gaming in groups and winnings in groups. The first of the Group Wins games introduced in IGE is “Treasures of the World”.

Octavian, on top of presenting its “Fantastic LeagueSpot The Ball” for traditional fixed-odd bets, releses officially its "High Drive" development, a local progressive jackpot system for six Progressive and two Mystery jackpots.

Slovenian firm AlfaStreet, as leader in multi-player options, exhibits its latest generation roulettes in this category, and adds “Tago” debut, a novelty multi-player card game. It is the first manufacturer that offers this product in online format.

Electroncek, another Slovenian company, has one of the stands located near the entrance of the exhibiting space. With its Interblock brand, it exhibits its “G4 Organic” concept, a sophisticated automated multi-player table game collection, with G4 Organic Card Blackjack as its flagship product.

Besides, Lara Croft Tomb Raider, from BetStone, is the first of many games that will be released by this company, SB expert, during 2009, which is already available for its immediate release to operators and distributors worldwide.

While Spanish firm Fournier introduces the “Security Baccarat Shoe” –a machine easy to use that reduces considerably the loss risk for casinos- French GPI presents RFID platform Tables Solution, which has, among its main features, the possibility to control tables and to track the floor of gaming chips. Besides, Italian Abbiatti exhibits its traditional products as well as its new and complete catalogue of Multi Media displays, may be with readers in height, cameras or connected to their Abbiati Laser Sensor Roulette Wheels.

Subsidiary of Playtech, Videobet, on top of adding new gaming titles –in particular, slot Gladiator and mystery jackpot Hit the Bank-, also exhibits its new administration system called Edge.

Once more, the London event gathers, at the beginning of a new season, a wide range of novelties, covering all the needs of the international gaming industry.
