Kiron Interactive launches new Virtual Sports products in time for IGE 2009

(UK).- Kiron Interactive, the specialist virtual sports software developer, is showing its new suite of virtual sports products for the betting and casino industries at the 2009 International Gaming Expo.

Having established itself in 2001 as a pioneer in the virtual racing industry with its Turfmaster virtual racing skill game, Kiron has entered the retail betting and casino markets with three virtual sports products, virtual horse racing, virtual greyhound racing and virtual harness racing.

Kiron is offering virtual sports content to bookmakers via broadcast or streaming or alternatively by rendering the content directly within a betting shop environment. The products are also to be offered on stand-alone gaming machines for deployment in betting shops and casinos, as well as on a multi-station basis.

Steven Spartinos, director of Kiron Interactive stated: “Virtual racing has been our business since 2001. We are thrilled to be launching our new betting products in time for the IGE exhibition with a number of international implementations being planned early in the current year. We look forward to showcasing the products at IGE to new clients”.

The launch of Kiron’s new product suite comes at a time when the UK industry is estimated to have grown to a us$ 963 million, with some bookmakers claiming up to 40 % of their profits being generated by virtual racing.
