The proposal intends to approve the Federal Gaming Law with Bets and Draws rule this activity in Mexico, under a transparent legal frame that brings security to players and bettors.
The document says that, the technological improvement of the sector made some rules and legal norms obsolete, so it is imperative to regulate the activity.
The proposal aims to boost tourism, as well as the development of local and regional entities. “We want to generate new employment opportunities and stimulate investments for programs of economic and social development, mainly in the communities in which entertainment centres are installed”, said the initiative.
It adds that, in order to combat corruption and impunity, it establishes that the licenses will be subject to regulation of the Federal Law against Organized Crime.
