Novomatic to create a strong presence at 2009 International Gaming Expo

(UK).- London’s International Gaming Expo, incorporating ICE, presents challenges for Novomatic on many fronts; in terms of logistics, personnel, equipment and, of course, the exhibits that each year demonstrate the company’s devotion to development and innovation in gaming.

he 2009 International Gaming Expo presents Novomatic with the challenge of making the best even better. When the Novo TouchBet Live-Roulette was launched it set the standard for electronic multi-player games based on traditional live gaming.

At January’s Earls Court expo, Novomatic will present the new functionality and concepts that are made possible by the groundbreaking Novo Unity II platform. Details are being kept under wraps until the show opens its doors but it is certain that aficionados of multi-player games, operators and their guests alike, will see a whole new arena of gaming possibilities from Novomatic.

Novomatic’s engineers have combined gaming knowledge and creativity with engineering excellence in order to succeed in moving the multi-player genre that their company first created even further ahead.

The company will also present in London new games in the highly successful Coolfire II range, along with exciting new cabinet initiatives guaranteed to excite casino guests around Europe and far beyond.

Novomatic will use seven trucks to tranship the products and equipment from Austria to the UK. The fleet will also carry a staggering five tons of catering supplies and equipment in order to provide Novomatic’s traditional booth hospitality and there are also in excess of 200 staff whose transport and lodging requirements must be effectively co-ordinated.

Jens Halle, Managing Director of Austrian Gaming Industries GmbH, noted: “As we have always stated, ICE in London is the biggest and most important exhibition that we attend each year. The effort required to present our products to our customers is immense but it is a vital part of our commercial strategy each year. The benefits of being able to meet with our customers one-on-one are huge and we take great pride in presenting our new products each year at ICE.”
