With an installation of SmartBoss, Ritzio expects a 5% reduction of the Group’s operational costs due to automation of the key administration processes. Gaming machines management and control functions, such as data collection and pay-out procedures, will now require less involvement from the personnel. The management companies also take advantage of the SmartBoss by cutting costs on the financial and operational controllers trips to remote gaming venues.

In its West European properties, Ritzio has already installed SmartBoss hardware units in over 500 gaming machines with 500 more to follow by the end of 2008. The optimization helps the company simplify the data collection process and save on faster encashment and other procedures. In Peru, which will join the project in December, SmartBoss will serve as an effective management tool, designed to deliver required data from 1000 machines to the company’s Latin American Operations Office for analysis and on-time administration.

The company plans to implement the OMS in all countries of its operations to make live management more efficient. Today SmartBoss keeps up with running of 600 gaming machines in European countries. In the following six months 5,000 devices will be installed to control gaming clubs routine in Croatia, Romania, Peru, Colombia, Belarus and Ukraine. Full “SmartBossization” is to be completed by the end of 2009.
