As online games revenues boom to us$ 649 million a year in the UK

Betfair launched its Arcade Games offering

(UK).- Betfair launched the Betfair Arcade, an innovative and engaging gambling offering on the net. It will open with over 60 games, including 17 large progressive jackpots.

Betfair believes this is the most generous permanent promotion to have ever been offered to online games players, reinforcing the company's commitment to delivering the best value to its customers.

The UK online casino industry is currently booming, according to Betfair's own estimates, published for the first time today. UK “Gross Win” is expected to grow 15% from us$ 564 million in 2007 to us$ 649 million this year. The company also estimates that 1m Britons will play online casinos in 2008, up from 885,000 in 2007.
