In addition, the team headed by Lee Martin has expanded substantially to include sales, project management, service and support to meet the demands of casino operators. This commitment to the market has paid off with the company being selected to supply a wide range of products and services to all the large new build projects.

The unprecedented growth of casino gaming in the region has been due largely to the changes in legislation, which have opened up opportunities for many new casinos. Macau now holds the number one position for gaming revenue in the world, even overtaking Las Vegas.

The success of Macau has without doubt had an effect on nearby regions with large scale projects underway in Singapore and Vietnam to name but a few. As a result of this and in line with the Group's strategy to grow international operations, a new office opened in Singapore on 1st May headed by Rebecca Kingswell, Regional Sales Director.

Rebecca has worked extensively in Asia over the last 15 years gaining immeasurable experience and local knowledge. She has been based in Macau for the past 5 years and has been instrumental in the success of TCS John Huxley's presence in the region.

“I am really excited about relocating and setting up our new operation in Singapore at this important time for gaming, states Kingswell. “Singapore was the obvious choice as a hub to service these areas as technical expertise and IT skills are excellent. In addition, two of the largest Asian projects are currently underway here - Marina Bay Sands and Sentosa Casino Resort - both due for completion in 2009.”

The new Singapore office will expand TCS John Huxley's presence into Asia as well as providing excellent after sales service and support in Malaysia, Singapore, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Korea and also India and Nepal. Rebecca heads a team that includes Joseph Ho, Technical Manager and Kelven Choo who will shortly join the team as a Senior Sales Executive. In addition, Krit Phinitwararak will be based in Bangkok, also taking care of sales for Cambodia and Vietnam. His location will ensure regular visits can be made to these expanding areas.

Tristan Sjoberg, Corporate Development Director for Asia comments: “The extraordinary growth experienced in Macau has without doubt encouraged other Asian countries to legalise gaming. We are now seeing the expansion of the gaming industry's most promising global market and as a result TCS John Huxley is well positioned to grow with the industry providing the best products, unparalleled service support, all backed up by a strong experienced team of professionals."
