he will be bringing her Human Resources expertise to an international forum as a moderator at G2E Asia, the most important Asian gaming exhibition and conference this June in Macau SAR, People's Republic of China.
The owner of a successful local Women's Business Enterprise, Vaccarella will be the scheduled moderator on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at The Venetian Macau for the panel “Signature Series: The Labor Pool: Training, Educating and Calibrating”, which is designed to address the labor crisis affecting Macau, SAR, which has now surpassed Las Vegas as the gaming capital of the world.
The labor shortage problem has been brought about by Macau's sudden economic surge following the deregulation of its gaming laws in 2001. Developing gaming projects must find, train and motivate a workforce that can deliver high levels of service under increasing demand, while existing operators must foster and retain the labor they have. Vaccarella was chosen this year to moderate this important panel, consisting of Human Resources professionals in the gaming/hospitality industry in Macau.
Joining Vaccarella on this panel are Lay Peng Ooi, Vice President of Human Resources at MGM Grand Macau, Cecilia Ieong, Director of Biglot Resource Development, Ltd and Niall Murray, Director of Operations Development, Joint Ventures and New Businesses, SJM and Chairman of Murray International.
The panelists will be discussing how gaming and hospitality properties can do this efficiently. Casino Executive Search is now focusing their services on the international gaming market to promote strategic Human Resources practices in the growing economy of the gaming industry in the United States and abroad.
As moderator, Vaccarella will be assisting industry experts in providing useful information, sharing their insights, and discussing proven strategies on the latest developments in casino/hospitality employment issues, training programs, and other labor issues facing this fast-growing industry.
