eta-released in first quarter 2008, Casinolink Analytics is a feature-rich, role-based decision-making tool that provides true fingertip access to the very data needed to make your key daily business decisions.
The most fundamental functions of Casinolink Analytics target such key areas as slot and table-game performance and accounting; player tracking, loyalty and patron profiling. It has also been designed from the ground up as a fully-scalable application, making the product suitable for any size of organization, from a single-site through to a multi-site enterprise.
Progressive Gaming has chosen Microsoft's familiar business intelligence solutions (including its newest addition, Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007) as the basis for Casinolink Analytics. As a result, the information brought together by Casinolink Analytics is presented in a friendly and familiar format for the end user.
The goal, according to Carl Rushton, Progressive Gaming's Director of Analytics Product Development, was “to provide our customers with the right tools to leverage their vital gaming information in order to gain a competitive advantage; create a more personalized experience for their guests and, in turn, to increase their profitability”.
Rushton continues, “Casino management at all levels will be able to use Casinolink Analytics to view this valuable information in a variety of formats which best suit the requirements of the user. Whether it is high level summary information or detailed analysis which is required, the intuitive dashboard or scorecard style interfaces & desktop software such as Microsoft Excel, enable all users to “drill down” into the heart of their data stores to obtain the information they require. In an increasingly competitive environment, it falls to individuals at each level of the business to make the right decisions at the right time that will positively impact on the business as a whole. If everyone is able to better access their important decision-making information in a familiar and efficient fashion, they will be well positioned to achieve their goals and targets. Casinolink Analytics makes this possible”.
Some of the base information that Casinolink Analytics can be used to interpret in a variety of tailored ways (e.g., via comparative tables, graphs, etc.) includes: Slot Machine Performance (Manufacturer, Denomination, Game Type, Theme, Platform). Table Game Performance (Game Type, Location, Minimum Bet, Player Tracking), Age and Gender (Slots / Tables, Game Type, Turnover, Average Bet, Theoretical Win) and Registration and Attendance (Patron Attendance, Registrations, Growth and Loyalty and Points).
So users will be able to review their key performance indicators at a glance, define their own metrics and measures of success, draw upon the experience of their peers via pre-defined templates and views, and easily define your own Analytics templates to fit your specific requirements. Information management and interpretation will become a much more simple, powerful and accurate task.
Carl Rushton concludes, “Casinolink Analytics was extremely well received at last year's G2E in Las Vegas. At ICE 2008 an equally high level of interest was generated. Once you have seen Casinolink Analytics in action it is clear just what a powerful business intelligence tool it really is”.
