Mincetur banned two important bills for the games of chance sector

(Peru).- With Engineer Manuel San Román, Mincetur presented two bills with the aim to improve the legislation referred to the games of chance in Peru. One of them is the Real Time Unified Control System (SUCTR) and the other one, the Rules for the Regulation of the Slots Record and the Acquisition of Licensed Casinos.

UCTR is a gambling administration system, which monitors each slot machine, using a communication protocol defined through a transmission media which does not allow to be harmed. The basic task of SUCTR is to record, search and inform about important events, counter reading, security of the system and other tasks determined by the competent authority.

All the slot machine models with a communication interface, in their design and development, will be used by SUCTR, without accepting the implementation of a different interface to comply with such goal. For the implementation of SUCTR is casinos, the use of wireless communication system won't be allowed as main connection.

The current rule will just be applied on the components that are part of SUCTR, however, technical requirements that must comply with the slots for their operation, are planned in Law Nº 27153 and revised norms, which must be registered in the slots recorded in Article 11º, Law Nº 28945.

Besides, the Norm for the Regulation of the Slots Record and the Acquisition of Licensed Gambling Venues has the aim to establish the regulations for the Slots Record, created by the Second Complementary and Final Regulation of Law Nº 28945 - Law of Formalization of the Slots and Casino Activity, as well as the norms to regulate the transference of casinos.
