WPT would upgrade its service to a full online casino with more than 200 games

CryptoLogic and WPT expand online gaming operation

(US).- World Poker Tour Enterprises has signed a deal with software provider CryptoLogic Limited that will see it expand its online casino offering with the addition of Spanish and German language poker rooms.

ryptoLogic is a leading developer of online gaming software and World Poker Tour stated that it has also agreed to extend its exclusive use of the Dublin-based firm's software until at least mid-2011.

“In less than one year, CryptoLogic and World Poker Tour have teamed up to deliver an exceptional online experience for casino and poker players all over the world,” said Brian Hadfield, President and Chief Executive Officer for CryptoLogic.

“CryptoLogic’s collaboration with World Poker Tour is another great example of our success in building and growing relationships with the world’s top gaming and entertainment brands for mutual benefit,” Hadfield added.

World Poker Tour began using software from CryptoLogic on its site last year to enable players to enjoy online poker and a mini-casino of 13 games. In addition to adding multi-language poker capabilities and extending its agreement, World Poker Tour stated that it would be upgrading its service to a full online casino with more than 200 games.

“Our partnership with CryptoLogic, particularly their reputation, proven software and liquidity, has been a key element in delivering a superior World Poker Tour gaming experience for fans in the international space,” said Steve Lipscomb, Founder and Chief Executive Officer for World Poker Tour.

“Expanding and extending this relationship allows us to take the brand to a higher level,” commented Steve Lipscomb, founder of WPT Enterprises.
