Asian Logic to act as a distributor and reseller in the region for Playtech

Asian deal to expand online casinos

(Philipine).- Online gambling group Asian Logic Limited has signed a licensing agreement with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCor) and Bingo Bonanza to expand Playtech's presence in the Asia-Pacific market.


he deal sees Asian Logic's Gamebuilders subsidiary license bespoke online casino software to PAGCor, allowing its Philweb service provider to operate casino platforms ultimately furnished by turnkey provider Playtech. Asian Logic acts as a distributor and reseller in the region for Playtech and assists with business development and product customisation.

The agreement, for which no financial details were disclosed, will also see Playtech software released in Internet casino stations (ICS) operated by Bingo Bonanza, a major bingo hall operator in the Philippines with 36 halls and up to six forecast to open this year.

Gamebuilders is to provide hosting services to Philweb and Bingo Bonanza along with a range of support and marketing services. It stated that the software has been customised to PAGCor's specific requirements, enabling it to provide the highest level of service.

“Following our successful intellectual property office arrangement, this agreement is further evidence of our strategy to grow our customer reach and appeal,” commenting on the deal, said Tom Hall, Executive Vice-President forr AsianLogic. “The agreement with Philweb will provide additional opportunities to expand penetration of the Asian Logic brand and products into one of the fastest growing markets for online and server-based gaming,” Hall added.
