Casino sales rose 15 % on the previous quarter to over us$ 84 million

PartyGaming shows strong fourth quarter

(UK).- Sales at PartyGaming rose 52 per cent year-on-year for the fourth quarter, to us$ 120 million. Revenue from poker grew 23 % in the period against 2006, although it fell 3 % against the previous quarter, which chief executive Mitch Garber attributed to a switch in the company’;s loyalty scheme.

arber said the new loyalty scheme was needed because as the previous regime was "rewarding customers for disloyalty".

Casino sales rose 15 per cent on the previous quarter to over us$ 84 million, a jump of around 150 per cent against the same quarter last year. PartyGaming’s sports betting business grew 50 per cent year-on-year to us$ 5.1 million.

The company also reported that new player sign-ups were 16 per cent higher than the previous quarter, and active player days were up 11 per cent against the previous period.
