he Tower Suites at Wynn Las Vegas is the only casino resort in the world to receive both the Mobil Five Star and AAA Five Diamond awards. In addition, Wynn Las Vegas was honored with the esteemed Michelin Guide’s Five Red Pavilion award in the premiere edition for Las Vegas in 2008. It is the only resort in Las Vegas to achieve this distinction and one of only nine in North America.

The incomparable dining experiences at Wynn Las Vegas were also recognized in 2008 by Mobil, AAA and Michelin. Alex, Alessandro Stratta’s namesake restaurant, has received the Mobile Five Star, AAA Five Diamond and the two coveted Michelin stars. The Tower Suites and Alex awards make Wynn Las Vegas the only resort in Las Vegas, and only one of five in North America, to have both a Five Star lodging and Five Star dining under one roof.
AAA Four Diamond ratings were also awarded for the second consecutive year to Bartolotta: Ristorante di Mare, Wing Lei, SW Steakhouse and Okada. Wing Lei and Daniel Boulud’s Brasserie are recipients of one Michelin star. The award makes Wing Lei the first and only Chinese restaurant to receive such distinction.
The Spa at Wynn Las Vegas was also honored with the Mobil Four Star award in 2008 for the third consecutive year.
Mobile Travel Guide’s proprietary ratings process is based on more than 750 standardized criteria for hotels and more than 250 for restaurants. Mobil Five Star destinations are "exceptionally distinctive luxury environments offering expanded amenities and consistently superlative service, with attention to detail and the anticipation of every need."
The AAA Five Diamond Award is also one of the most coveted honors for the hospitality industry. AAA describes Five Diamond resorts as "establishments that reflect the characteristics of the ultimate in luxury and sophistication; accommodations that are first class; and physical attributes extraordinary in every manner."
The Michelin Guide features a selection of the best restaurants and hotels in a given city or region, across various comfort and price scales, and is widely considered the "bible of gastronomy for foodies." Restaurants worthy of a star or multiple stars reflect the characteristics of first-class quality, a mastery of cooking and a superior product.
