Microgaming to show five new online casino games at ICE 2008

(UK).- January games from Microgaming include a selection of big video slots, an innovative blackjack and a new interactive pub fruitie style game. The firm released five new online gambling games which it plans to showcase at the upcoming ICE in London.

T

he games are being carried across the large range of Microgaming-powered online gambling venues this week, and follow the award to the firm’s "Hitman" game as best slot for 2007 by the Oggs.com casino review site.

Blackjack players who want exciting side action will welcome the latest addition to the Microgaming Gold Series of superior table games - European High Streak Blackjack. Based on the European rules, this new offering enhances the basic blackjack game by adding the option of a side bet known as the High Streak, where a player’s success rate in consecutive hands enables progress along a chain of incentives that could deliver up to 10:1 rewards.

Little Chief Big Cash is a big 5 reel, 25 pay-line video slot that is chock-a-block full of excitement, rewards and really wild action with attractive features such as Wilds, Scatters, Multipliers, Free Spins and a second screen Bonus bonanza.

The colourful graphics include dream catchers, delectable squaws, arrow-ventilated Stetsons and a dangerous looking tomahawk, but it's the Coyote and Little Chief Big Cash that offer the most player potential.

The chief is Wild, and when he helps to build a win combination the reward is doubled. Coyote is a multi-tasker of note, acting as a Scatter which can multiply wins in a combination, but more importantly as a trigger symbol for the outstanding Bonus feature on this free-flowing game.

Three Coyotes open up the second screen bonus feature, where players are invited to make selections from five teepees until they hit the teepee hiding the coyote. Each selection has a random ranging reward that can be a credit prize as high as x40 the triggering bet, or up to 10 free spins where the prizes are doubled.

The luck of the Irish is in play in Microgaming’s new pub fruity machine game Treasure Island. Using a 3 reel, one pay-line platform, it is an AWP machine with the traditional nudge and hold features that enable you to give Lady Luck an extra push to deliver on a whole range of opportunities and rewards.

The new game faithfully captures the UK ’pub’ feel of these entertaining fruit machines with added appeal through a more complex playing experience in a truly dynamic game.

This 3 reel machine has a “3 in view” feature with the reel bands overlaid with game symbols. When all 3 reels carry the same symbol within the reel window, the feature launches.

This is made up of a 14 position lapper board and 3 shot pots for features, cash and win spins. There are win spin shots, feature shots and “cash shots squares” that award the player a number of shots within the respective shot pot. There are also a number of bonus squares which award special prizes.

The new Mark of Medusa video slot is a 5 reel, 25 pay-line slot powered by one of the fastest and smoothest software engines in the business. This is a video slot that can deliver between 15 and 25 Free Spins at a time with x3 multiplier punch and a re-trigger on the freebies.

Rounding up Microgaming's January releases is, appropriately, the wintry looking Polar Bash; this 5 reel, 20 pay line slot incorporates the best in the American bonus genre combined with the very popular Australian free spin gaming concept to deliver a game with multiple opportunities for reward. These include two scatter routes with multipliers, a second screen bonus and unprecedented generosity up to 25 free spins.

Everyone can play this slot, which takes bets as low as 0.01 and up to 0.50 and pays out up to 60 000.00 in the base game, double that through Free Spins and a further 7500.00 on the ice-fishing bonus.
