Classes to begin January 2008 at UNLV

GSA and UNLV to conduct executive overview protocol training

(US).- The Gaming Standards Association and UNLV have created a series of four easy-to-understand, non-technical courses for executives and managers designed to quickly give attendees a better working knowledge of the industry's new protocol standards and their implications.

T

he series, titled “GSA Executive Awareness Program,” consists of four two-hour classes and focus on the needs of executives and managers working for game and systems equipment manufacturers, casino properties, regulators and independent test labs. Each class is presented in non-technical, easily understood language.

The first course, “An Executive Briefing on GSA Protocols” gives attendees a “big picture” understanding of all GSA protocols: what they do, how they work and why they are poised to revolutionize casino operations. The next session, “An Executive Overview of G2S,” focuses on the revolutionary and award-winning Game-to-System (G2S) protocol and its incredible potentials.

“An Executive Overview of S2S” presents GSA's System-to-System standard and its implications for the back office. Finally, “An Executive Overview of Transport & Security” presents GSA's Transport & Security protocol and how it enables G2S & S2S to revolutionize casino operations.
