Foxwoods and Philadelphia reach deal

(US).- Foxwoods Casino Philadelphia and the city of Philadelphia unveiled a pact in which Foxwoods invests in the city and preserves a public waterfront in exchange for the city’;s cooperation on land use issues.

Under the agreement, made public yesterday afternoon, Foxwoods has committed to improving city sewer and storm water systems, alleviating the effect of increased traffic in the city and providing free public access to the waterfront, according to a joint statement.
