Cantor leaps to Macau

(Macau).- Cantor Gaming's hand-held gaming unit is going on field trial at the Venetian in Macau, the company announced at G2E. The device is also on a three-month trial with Nevada's Gaming Control Board.

They want to be sure that when a person takes the unit outside the area in which it is allowed to be used, it shuts down immediately,” said the company's John Buyachek.

“As far as the Venetian in Macau is concerned, if the device is approved it will be rolled out over the entire footprint of the resort.” GLI has already approved it and the nine games that it is carrying initially.
