MyLotto24 will offer UK players the chance to compete for numerous European jackpots including Italy's SuperEnalotto, Germany's GluecksSpirale and the European EuroMillons.
Tipp24's move into the UK lottery market, which was valued at 7.1 billion euros in 2005, follows on from the company's expansion into Spain and Italy as it seeks to limit its dependence on the German market, prior to the introduction of the new State Treaty on Gambling which comes into force in January 2008.
The company has also released its interim results yesterday for the first nine months of 2007 with operating profits benefiting from international expansion, climbing 17% to 28.5 million euros from revenue of 218.2 million euros, also up 17%. EBIT for the period improved 2.4% to 5.2 million euros.
Tipp24's registered customer base as at September 30th 2007 totalled 1.9 million.
