he agreement, which was formally signed at the recent GameExpo show in Budapest, has already resulted in the Octavian system being selected for the first time by a Hungarian gaming venue. Ardeco is to supply the new V-Projekt-owned Le Grand casino in Budapest with the full My ACP system, complete with Player Tracking and Cashless add-on modules.
Octavian is to install the system at Le Grand in time for the casino's scheduled opening in November. 138 EGMs will be connected and controlled through My ACP and Octavian will also provide maintenance and support services following installation.
Ardeco and Octavian are optimistic that, once this first installation is operational and available as a “reference site”, further My ACP/Player Tracking/Cashless installations will follow at other V-Projekt sites and casinos in Hungary.
Commenting on the deal, Robert Dykstra, General Manager Octavian Europe said: “This project came about through our existing relationship with Hot Games, with whom we are working across many European jurisdictions. It quickly became clear that adding Octavian casino systems expertise to Ardeco's already excellent range of solutions for the Hungarian gaming market would be of great business benefit - for both our companies and for Hungarian casino operators too.”
Csaba Varadi, Managing Director of Ardeco International added: “We are delighted to have this opportunity to resell Octavian My ACP slot management systems in Hungary. We have seen My ACP installed in casinos in St. Petersburg and Moscow and have been extremely impressed with how the system enables an operator to easily control areas such as accounting, maintenance and revenue-generating progressives, either at a single venue or over a wide area network.”
Octavian has confirmed that they are discussing extending the agreement to cover distribution with Hot Games and Ardeco of Octavian's DreamGames portfolio of video slot games and, possibly, Octavian's new Maverick flat-pack EGM and games kit.
