To provide nearly 2 million chips from the Bourgogne et Grasset brand

Venetian Macau opens with high security gaming chips from Gaming Partners

(Macau).- Gaming Partners International Corporation announced that the Venetian Macau opened last August 28, with GPI’;s high security chips in use on all 870 tables in the casino.

ollowing the standard set by most other Macau casinos, Venetian chose GPI as its preferred supplier to provide nearly 2 million chips from the Bourgogne et Grasset (B&G) brand. These chips include exclusive security features such as individual high security holograms, ultra-violet pigments, Laser Lock infrared pigments and see-through inserts. These chips for the Venetian Macau, some of the highest security chips ever made, were manufactured at the Company’s facility in Beaune, France.

"Our exclusive security features and high quality standards combined with tightly controlled production facilities and procedures guarantee the best possible level of security and integrity when it comes to the supply of casino currency," said Christophe Leparoux, GPI International Sales and Marketing Manager.

"The management team at Las Vegas Sands Venetian is already familiar with GPI’s quality service through its supply of chips to Sands Macau over the last three years. We are particularly proud and grateful for their renewed support and the confidence they have once again shown in our company and products."

GPI supplies the B&G brand chips and plaques made in Beaune, France as well as the Bud Jones and Paulson chips from Las Vegas directly to casinos worldwide. Management believes that beyond the intrinsic quality and sophistication of the products, this direct contact between the customers and a long-established manufacturer is key to a successful partnership.
