"We will be looking actively to the South American market"

(Exclusive Yogonet.com from Peru).- Yogonet.com interviewed David Nicholls, Managing Director, South America, Casino Technology, within recent Peru Gaming Show in Lima. He talked about the recent opening of a new office of the firm in Peru and also commented about the Peruvian market in particular and South America in general. "Lima has a very good infraestructure for transport and also an office infraestructure in general", he commented.

hy did you choose Lima, Peru to open a new office?

Lima has a very good infraestructure for transport and also an office infraestructure in general, so I can say that it is very central, you can travel by plane just about anywhere in South America very quickly, so trips are shorter than if you come from further away. So over all, we can say that it is very central and the infraestructure is more than adequate to have an office here, as well as transport, of course, which is well for goods and machinery.

What is the attraction of the Peruvian market?

The attraction of the market at the moment would be the fact of the new legislation that is coming to Peru, in particular, so it means that there will be a lot more opportunities available for machine suppliers in the market, and everyboby will be acting in a professional manner. We, as a company, like to do that. We don't like to supply countries where there is insecurity. So we think there are a lot of future benefits not only in Peru but also in the South American region in general, where there are a lot of developments taking place and where the market is expanding, so we feel this is a very good market.

What are the advantages of your machines for South America? Did you release a special machine for this market?

All machines have been developed in Europe obviously, but our company has done a lot of developments to supply the Latin American type of market, so all of our games are in Spanish, also, to suit the market, and the machine itself is a very good one for any market. So it is a game, and the person comes to a casino to play, and we have a lot of bonus features in our games and we concentrate in all types of developments for South America. We also listen to our clients, and we will start to do some changes and developments according to that, that's why we will be looking actively to this market.
