Cox, who previously worked at leisure management group Danoptra, will take the lead on gathering and assessing information and statistics from all sectors of the coin-op industry.
BACTA chief executive Keith Smith said: “Anne's appointment reflects the growing significance the association attaches to our evidence base. Robust industry statistics are crucial to BACTA's campaigning and lobbying activity.
"With the new legislation just around the corner, the industry model will only increase in importance for us. We need to ensure that BACTA remains the most comprehensive source of data on the coin-op industry."
