PokerPro Heads-Up receives innovation nomination

(US).- PokerPro Heads-Up, the industry's first two-seated head-to-head electronic poker table, has been short listed in Casino Journal's annual awards to find the “Most Innovative Gaming Technology Products”.

T

he awards are part of the Fifth Annual Gaming Technology Summit to be held across May 22-24 at the Green Valley Ranch in Las Vegas.

PokerPro Heads-Up, which recently celebrated a hat-trick of approvals covering GLI, RHOS and CE compliance, has a hard act to follow: its stablemate, the ten player PokerPro, was the only product to receive the top ‘Platinum Award' at the 2006 ceremony.

Tim Klok, European Manager - Multi Table Gaming of Aristocrat Technologies Europe, the exclusive distributor for PokerProacross Europe, CIS states the Middle East and North Africa, stated: “Naturally we are delighted that PokerPro Heads-Up has been short listed. The table incorporates all of the benefits of the PokerPro technology including speed, accuracy and secure, cashless gaming, as well as offering gaming venues the opportunity to offer heads up poker cost effectively.”

“PokerPro Heads-Up uses 20 per cent of the floor space of a traditional table, deals more hands per hour than any of its competitors and represents a genuine turnkey solution for the poker industry: that's what we mean by innovation,” Klok added.
