3.85 million euros purchase price to be paid out in three parts

Olympic Entertainment Group acquired three casinos in Romania

(Romania).- On April 12th, Olympic Entertainment Group (OEG) signed a contract for the acquisition of a casino operator in Romania. The amount of the deal is 3.85 million euros and concerns the acquisition of three casinos in Bucharest, capital of Romania.

ccording to Andri Avila, member of the Management Board of OEG, the group has acquired operations of Empire International Game World, one of Romania's best-known casino operators.

“One of the three casinos is one of Bucharests' most luxurious gaming location in Sofitel Hotel in World Trade Centre. The other two slot machine casinos are located in the town centre,” commented Avila. “The deal will give us an ideal opportunity to enter the Romanian market and a base for further expansion.”

Under the contract, the 3.85 million euros purchase price will be paid out in three parts. Without delay, OEG will start the transformation of the three casinos to comply with the standards of Olympic Casino and rebrand the locations.

In March 2007 OEG set up a company in Romania by the name of Olympic Casino Bucharest SRL and at present it is managed by the group's expansion director Anders Galfjensö.

Romania has a population of 22 million, of whom over 2 million live in the country's capital Bucharest. Starting from this year, Romania is a member state of the European Union.
