Cantor Gaming is acquiring the key gaming assets of The Kismet Group, a leading supplier which develops and operates premium, branded online casinos using its own robust and proven technology.

Kismet has operated affinity agreements with such partners as leading luxury UK brand, Harrods, to provide online gaming solutions for them in legal and regulated markets. The firm has over 40 casino games in its portfolio and will continue to develop gaming content as part of Cantor Gaming.

Manu Gambhir, founder of Kismet, will become Managing Director of Cantor Gaming, reporting to Cantor Gaming's President, Lee Amaitis. In his new role, Gambhir will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Cantor Gaming's online gaming business and the development of Cantor Gaming's proprietary gaming technology and content.

Tom Kenny, in his new role as Director of Business Development and Sales and Kevin Burman, Head of Product Development, will report directly to Gambhir.

Gambhir is a pioneer in the development of online gaming software, having built one of the world's first online casinos. Prior to this, he was at Microsoft and is a graduate holding business and computer science degrees from both The Wharton Business School and the School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania.

The acquisition of Kismet marks the latest development in the growth of Cantor Gaming. Over the last year, Cantor Gaming has signed agreements with a variety of partners in the gaming industry including Las Vegas Sands Corporation, for which it will provide online casino and poker solutions to the UK market and mobile gaming solutions for its Venetian and Palazzo resorts in Nevada.

Cantor Gaming has also signed content license agreements with Progressive Gaming, Atronic and Aristocrat for the application of content to its mobile gaming devices to be used at licensed, regulated resorts.

The acquisition of The Kismet Group will enable Cantor Gaming to move rapidly forward on behalf of its customers, providing the ability to deploy a tried and tested online gaming platform that has taken millions of bets.

Commenting on the acquisition, Lee Amaitis, President of Cantor Gaming, said “This acquisition is the latest initiative to ensure that we offer our partners and potential partners the best possible solution in the online gaming market. Manu brings a wealth of experience and expertise relating to content and technology development and we are excited about the possibilities that this acquisition represents.”

Manu Gambhir, founder of The Kismet Group, said “I am delighted to have reached this agreement with Cantor Gaming. It is an excellent opportunity to take Kismet's proven online gaming platform to an even wider market.”
