Octavian showcases new products and new partnerships at ICE

(UK).- Having taken a larger, double-tiered stand at ICE this year, Octavian used the increased space to launch a host of new products and to introduce systems solutions from new strategic partners from Australia and the US.

One of the biggest talking points was Octavian's new Maverick 1000 flat-pack gaming machine and games kit. Its revolutionary self-assembly design allows local manufacturers to benefit from the competitive edge of world-leading machine technology for little more than the price of a pre-owned machine.

According to Octavian CEO Harmen Brenninkmeijer: “The Maverick concept is an important development, as we are able to provide local manufacturers with a cost-effective entry point into modern-day networked gaming for their customers in developing markets. It will not only help Octavian to market its games and systems in these countries, it will also support machine manufacturers by promoting the adoption of the latest gaming machine technology in developing markets.”

Another big attraction was the launch of Tournament, an exciting software add-on to the Octavian ExtraCash system that enables slot machine players to compete against each other and against the clock. Many visitors took the opportunity to do just that, taking part in the regular prize Tournaments held each day on the stand.

Octavian also used ICE to showcase new DreamGames and AWP games titles. Hot Race, Wild Ride and Free Wild were all presented for the first time. Also making its world premiere in London was Cocktail Cash, a new downloadable game completed by Octavian's game developers in the week prior the show.

Octavian's partners on the stand were the Australian stock exchange-listed ebet (with whom Octavian plan to merge in the next quarter) and LVGI (Las Vegas Gaming Inc). Both new partners presented systems solutions that complement Octavian's already well-established ACP (Accounting, Control, Progressives) slot management systems.

ebet demonstrated Freedom, a powerful card-based cashless system, and Assist Suite, a fully integrated gaming floor management system. LVGI, meanwhile, caught the eye with WagerVision, SlottoVision and AdVision. Their revolutionary patented technology allows the monitors of existing slot machines on the floor to be used for advertising, sports wagering or additional bets. It allows the operators to create a unique selling point on machines, which to date cannot be found with their competition, generating tremendous promotional and financial rewards.

Commenting on a highly successful few days at ICE, Group Marketing Manager Helen Hedgeland said: “This was our most ambitious stand yet, and arguably the most exciting mix of gaming solutions seen on a single stand. It was a successful formula and one we shall be repeating at G2E Asia and AGE. Our relationships with ebet and LVGI deliver even more opportunities for our customers to drive revenue growth and increase efficiency, while perfectly complementing Octavian's own games and systems solutions."
