Novomatic Netherlands names Karin den Dunnen its new CFO; Jos van den Borne steps down

Novomatic Netherlands announced that Karin den Dunnen will succeed Jos van den Borne as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), as part of the subsidiary's management restructuring plans. In her new position, she will be responsible for the finance team, human resources, corporate IT and compliance, legal as well as internal audit.

den Dunnen is described by Novomatic as an experienced international Finance Manager with extensive expertise in the gaming industry. Prior to her position at Novomatic, den Dunnen held the position of CFO at The Rent Company, Zelfstroom, AutoBinck Group, Findependent, and Koninklijke Drukkerij Em. de Jong.

She also worked as Interim Finance Manager in different companies and as the VP of Finance and Control at Holland Casino N.V. as well as in other companies such as Nutreco or Maersk. den Dunnen studied at the universities of Maastricht, Amsterdam, Shanghai, and Boston and is a certified financial manager.

Of her latest appointment, den Dunnen commented: "I am looking forward to my new position as it holds very diverse tasks for me and it gives me the opportunity to contribute my experience to Europe's largest gaming group."

The new management team will consequently consist of Zane Mersich, Robert Meijer, Reinier Schutte, and Karin den Dunnen once the legal requirements are met "in the next few weeks."

In other recent news, earlier this week Novomatic confirmed its attendance at the upcoming edition of GAT Showcase Bogotá, set to take place at the Sheraton Bogotá Hotel, on September 8. The company will showcase its latest BLACK EDITION II cabinet series, four Linked Progressive Jackpots, and a revamped line of circular signage solutions.
