In accordance with data released Tuesday by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, March's gross revenue of $226,597,681 at the 12 casinos was the third highest individual month from the play of slot machines, ranking only behind March 2012 ($233,147,479) and March 2013 ($229,335,372).
Tax revenue from the play of slots machines in March of this year was $118,017,388.
The average number of slot machines operating on a daily basis was 25,238 during March 2019 compared to 25,815 at the casinos in March 2018.
