In an exclusive interview with Yogonet.com, Amatic's executive discussed his views on this year's edition of ICE Totally Gaming in London. He also revealed the company's expansion plans for 2018.

Amatic showcased its renowned Multi Games, slots, electronic roulette and online content in HTML5 format. How did visitors respond to them?

Our stand was busy on all three days. Our main goal was to present our pillars of innovation – Multi Game, gaming machines, electronic roulette and online gaming (AMANET). We are strong in all areas and there was lots of interest shown for all our products. Visitors enjoyed seeing our brand-new games and the new jackpots we offer. This was particularly the case for our mystery hybrid jackpot that we developed as a complete solution for our ‘Golden Buddha’ game that has a large overhead display, enabling up to eight players at a time to play and try to win the common jackpot. Our customers and partners know that they are always welcome and can stay as long on our booth as they wish. It is fair to say that we now have several strong divisions in our company and our AMANET online gaming division has grown very strongly in the past year.

AMATIC was also celebrating its 25-year anniversary. Can you mention three milestones during the company's history?

The first milestone began 25 years ago when the focus was placed on Multi Game. We initially launched video-based slot machines with our Multi Game selection. For 25 years now we have been developing our own games. Another milestone was the introduction of our Roulette Grand Jeu. Our customers have taken to our electronic roulette very much and we are proud to have produced such a large number over the years. A third milestone has to be the introduction of our AMANET online games which now brings our popular land-based games to the online gaming world.

Will you be organizing any special event to celebrate this anniversary?

We prefer our products to do the talking. That is why we took a larger booth in a better position and created a new stand design to portray just how much we have to offer. The ICE was naturally the perfect platform to do just that. As you can see, our strategy is to invest more in our main shows where our customers can relax and enjoy times with us and see our latest innovations.

Which new markets do you intend to break into with your interactive division AMANET? How is the synergy between both business sides getting on?

Referring to AMANET, our focus will be to further increase our installed base. The number of people who can enjoy AMANET games rose sharply in 2017 as AMATIC Industries was awarded with the rights to market its online games in a number of jurisdictions, including the UK, Malta, Romania, Spain and Colombia. We are seeing that the chances of success are high for those games that have proven themselves in the land-based segment first. In addition to that, we are creating new titles for AMANET as well – so players have a great mixture of evergreen and new games.

Which markets are targeted for success this year? What factors will influence that?

As we are based in a rather small country, we have always been export-oriented. We will continue to support our clients throughout the world with sophisticated gaming technology. We believe that AMANET will remain our fastest growing division in 2018.
