Born in Mexico, Carlos Carrión joined Aristocrat in 2006 as Project Manager for Latin America. Due to the rapid growth of the region, he was initially promoted to the position of Marketing Manager for Latin America in 2008 and then Director of Sales and Operations - Mexico in 2010. Since then, he has been in this role in Aristocrat office in Mexico and in 2014 he was appointed President of AGEM Mexico committee with venue in Mexico City. Carlos is graduated in Mechanical Engineering in the Universidad Nacional de México. With more than 17 years of international experience in marketing, sales and engineering in the gaming industry and telecommunications, he has successfully developed several roles in Alcatel, Concept Games and Paragon Path.

The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers -AGEM- announced in July the creation of the Committee AGEM Mexico, with its venue in Mexico City. This committee is focused in specific issues for the Mexican market that affect a wide variety of games of chance providers. Its president, Carlos Carrión, reviews in this article the reasons that motivated this initiative and analyzes the regulatory changes that are taking place in the country.
