(US).- Gross revenue from table games at Pennsylvania’s 11 casinos rose sharply last month. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board says table games generated us$ 72.7 million in May, up 13.6 % from the same period last year.

(US).- New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has submitted a bill to the State Legislature that would divide upstate New York into seven different non-Indian land regions and allow one resort casino to be developed in four of the regions. The casino expansion bill that is being negotiated behind closed doors included a new provision Saturday that would expand gambling even if voters reject the proposal to build more casinos.
