(Panama).- Cirsa Panama has just announced the opening of two new gambling halls from Casinos Fantastic chain, in Vista Alegre and Penonomé. Both inaugurations counted with the presence of important local personalities and live shows.

(Panama).- Casino, horse races and games of chance bets in Panama increased us$ 818 million during 2008, a 11% growth compared to the previous year, revealed the Gambling Control Committee.

(Panama).- The games of chance business is growing, and casino winnings in 2008 exceeded us$ 300 million, while the government received more than us$ 30 million. Besides, the demand of new casinos is increasing, too. In 2008, a new casino license was granted and there are four requests in process.

(Panama).- The latest report of the Government Watchdog’s Office on the income of the gaming sector in Panama indicate a collection of us$ 819.9 million between January and September 2008, that represent a growth of 20.2% on the same period last year.

(Panama).- Betting in casinos, gambling halls, horse racetracks and lottery in Panama generated us$ 1,178,842,960, a 19% increment compared to a similar period last year.
