(US).- Scientific Games Corporation announced the appointment of Ian Timmis as Chief Executive of its wholly-owned subsidiaries The Global Draw Ltd. and Games Media effective March 8 reporting to Steve Frater who will continue in his role as Executive Chairman.

Timmis brings strong UK and International experience and will strengthen the existing team by supporting growth initiatives anticipated at The Global Draw and Games Media.
Timmis previously held the position of Group General Manager, Corporate Development, at Aristocrat Leisure in Australia and played a key role in developing long term strategies including re-engineering Aristocrat's supply chain, extending its product range and completing a number of significant acquisitions.

As Chief Executive, Timmis will initially focus on developing a growth strategy for The Global Draw's international business. He will also oversee the successful integration of the VideoBet gaming platform into The Global Draw and Games Media following the recently announced international partnership between Scientific Games and Playtech to design and promote new integrated gaming solutions.

Steve Frater, Executive Chairman of The Global Draw and Games Media, said: "This is an exciting new role to support the long term growth and development of our two business divisions in their respective markets. Ian is a widely experienced senior executive with extensive international experience in a variety of industries and proven leadership capability at the highest level.
